The St. Louis Maternal Child and Family Health Coalition is dedicated to providing its members and the community a systematic way to examine the social, political, economical, cultural and health system factors associated and impacting the health of mothers and infants in order to plan for the future.

The Coalition will accomplish this through:

	Monitoring Trends
	Education
	Coordination and Collaboration
	Setting an agenda for Maternal, Child and Family Health

The MCFH Coalition is the home of the St. Louis Immunization Coalition.

Maternal Child & Family Health News:

The MCFHC is now a proud member of the Community Health Charities. Employees in organizations that participate in Community Health Charities campaigns can designate the MCFHC to receive their donation. Contact Kendra at 314-289-5682 for more information.

The Mapping a Course to a Healthier Community just released a report, Priorities of Community Stakeholders. The report is the collective wisdom of over 200 parents and providers who participated in the initiative. The MCFHC will discuss the report in depth on August 21, 2008 as part of the Mapping a Course Education Series.

The Maternal, Child and Family Health Coalition presents the new Educational Series: MCH Mapping a Course. This series will explore the impact of Environmental issues, Poverty, Access to Insurance, and Mental Health on the health of women and children.
